"This technology is truly innovative."
"As one with experience in the fields of horticulture and plant genetics, I can confirm that TerraSphere's technology clearly represents a significant breakthrough in plant production, offering some of the following advantages over standard cultivation: full control of growing conditions, higher yields, shorter growing cycles, accelerated growth, containment, and tangible environmental benefits. Overall, I feel this technology is truly innovative and offers significant advantages to traditional greenhouse or field production systems for many plant species."

"Although the Ministry cannot endorse individual companies or technologies, we can state that should the production and quality of crops bear close resemblance to that which Ministry staff have seen documented in their (TerraSphere's) 'Squamish project plan' it will have strong likelihood for success in today's market for premium products and novel plant-based medicinal applications. Although staff did not observe the technology in operation, the concept was discussed as well as the notional capacity for production. Noted strengths included: 1) Rapid, organic grow-out of premium crops, such as herbs and medicinal plants; 2) Application for 'close to home' production in remote or isolated locations, including potential application to crisis conditions; 3) Potential for contained, controlled production of genetically-engineered plant materials."
