TerraSphere's technology has applications for a broad spectrum of partners, including private businesses, public agencies and institutions, non-profit organizations, and governments. Economic, societal, political and regulatory trends have created a strong demand for innovative agricultural solutions. Forward-thinking investors seek new opportunities for profitable investment in urban agriculture that will meet consumers' demands for fresh, high-quality, pesticide-free produce. In many regions of the world, climate makes it impossible to meet this need year round. TerraSphere and its partners provide a solution on a commercial scale by creating the ideal environment for plant production, instead of searching for ideal plants to adapt to environmental conditions.
TerraSphere is currently exploring potential partnerships with the following:

Multiple production systems and multiple genotypes are required to fill consumers' demand for year-round availability of fresh strawberries. However, environmental conditions such as hot summers days and cold winter days limit the time of strawberry production to only one or two months each year within a geographic region or fruit production district. USDA's Agricultural Research Service and TerraSphere are interested in a collaboration to develop new, controlled-environment production systems that incorporate novel ARS technologies for propagation of clean, pest-free strawberry transplants for year-round strawberry production.
